Renewable Natural Gas: Unlocking Local Government Potential in BC

Natural gas is the source of one-quarter of British Columbia’s greenhouse gas emissions. But there is another way to generate this energy that could provide substantial emissions reductions: renewable natural gas (RNG), derived from diverse organic waste sources. Join the Korean Consulate’s public event for the launch of a new collaborative research project to explore options for local government RNG production. This public dialogue features speakers from the Government of BC, City of Surrey, and FortisBC.

When: June 15, 2018, 09:30-11:30

Where: SFU Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue (Room 420, 580 W Hastings St. Vancouver, BC)
